Two bosom friends 2nd part
Raja consoles Sameer, assuring him that he would surely help him get his love. He also suggests to him to stay calm and composed in order to get his love back.
" The real love is that one does not get," says Raja. He further tells Sameer, "He had loved a girl but she married someone else as soon as she got a proposal for matrimony."
"The way all the fingers aren't equal, all the girls are not of the same nature as well." Raja tells his friend who listens to his words quite quietly. Raja wants to lighten Sameer's heart by expressing to him that he would never care about any girl coming in his life for he thinks that he would again face the same disloyalty. He recalls a famous dialogue from a great play of Shakespeare named "Hamlet" and he utters it, "Frailty thy name is woman." Sameer remains pretty still and he just nods his head to show that he agrees with whatever his friend is telling him. Finally, he interrupts and beseeches Raja to help him. Raja goes on saying to him that he would love to help him as they have been sworn friends since childhood. Few days later, Raja asks him to contact Samina in order to meet her at some restaurant, but Sameer tells him that he has got no money these days to afford the bill of the restaurant. Hearing this, Raja says to him that he should not be worried about the money as he himself would arrange that. He just wants to see them both sit and talk to each other in order to take a careful decision to get married. He further says that he would personally stand by their decision, for he wants to see his friend happy at any cost. Sameer gets bolder after listening to his friend and then he fixes a day to call his love to have a gathering. Raja wishes to accompany Sameer to the restaurant since he hankers to see the choice of his friend. Sameer permits him go along with him on the particular day. No sooner do the days elapse than they move towards their destination after having contacted Samina who agrees to see her lover after a long period of time. All three of them get together at a very popular restaurant. Samina reaches there in veil that not only covers her body, but the face also. Raja requests Sameer to say to her to remove her mask from her visage so that he could at least have a glimpse of her. As soon as she removes her mask, Raja gets too much surprised to her grace and beauty. He falls in love with her. He cannot control his feelings and sentiments, so he utters a couplet full of love that goes like,
" You are not a lady but an angel;
I don't care about my friend who is still single."
Both Sameer and Samina start laughing at Raja's poetry, considering it to be a kind of joke, but Raja really feels touched and impressed by the aesthetic grace and beauty of Samina. Now he fancies to be in palce of his friend with her. He doesn't even care for his friend's love. Instead, while getting back from the restaurant, he not only asks for the number of Samina but her address also so that he can directly talk to her on mobile. Sameer blindly trusts his friend and gives away him both the number and the address of his girl friend without any suspicion.
Raja plays a vicious game of hoodwinking his childhood friend without any succinct innuendo of ever being caught by him. He starts calling Samina, using public booth for his personal safety. He also knows that the act he is involved in will definitely cause a great cleavage between him and his childhood friend, but still he doesn't care about it at all. Instead, he remains focused on getting his goal of getting in touch with the girl by hook or by crook. He keeps on irking Samina by ringing her up through different means. One day she shares this matter with Sameer who becomes a little angry as well as perturbed to hear this as it had never happened to her in her life ever before. He could not even think of his friend's involvement behind all this. On the one hand Raja goes on getting troublesome and problematic for two lovers, and leaves no hint of being implicated in such a nasty deed, on the other hand he sympathizes with both of them. This goes on for quite a long period and one day Sameer shares this matter with Raja who promises to support his friend at any time to catch that guy who keeps irritating his girl friend without any hesitation and feeling of any shame on his face. Raja decides to make one more malicious design. He wishes to trap someone else by sharing the girl's number to prove that he really cares for his friend's life and love and can't bear to see a third person between their love, so he suddenly comes across his old friend named Tariq who never misses any chance to get girls' numbers at any cost. Raja shares Samina's number with him and waits for a few days to pass in order to prove and catch the man behind the involvement of all this activity. Thus, he traces his number and tells Sameer that one of his friends called Tariq is involved in calling his beloved. Both of them go in the search of Tariq, but Raja makes an excuse and asks Sameer that he has an emergency back home so he cannot accompany him to get the boy. Sameer understands his urgency and goes to Tariq all by himself to teach him a real lesson for his ridiculous action. After reaching the home of Tariq, he explains to him to stop calling on his girl friend's number or else he would get him arrested in a case of bothering his to be wife, but Tariq becomes impatient and starts fighting with him. Both of them exchange punches, injuring each other seriously. After some time, a few passers by stop them from beating each other and say to them to get back to their homes. Sameer yells at the boy, saying to him that if he doesn't stop calling his girl friend, he won't spare him the next time. As soon as he returns home, his parents find him in injured condition, they ask for reason for bruises on his face. He doesn't tell them anything and cleans his muzzle with a piece of cotton. When his father insists him to tell the truth behind everything then he discloses that he loves a girl whom a boy teases on cell phone by calling her over and over again. He also tells his father that he can't live without her as he wants to marry her. Sameer's father likes his love story and promises him to help him in every possible way. Therefore, both of them go to the home of Tariq to explain to his father about the matter. Being a benign gentleman, he assures them about his son that he will stop him from calling the girl. Sameer and his father get convinced and return to their home contented, not aware of the next maneuver of Raja, the real hooligan behind all this game. The father of Tariq makes him understand and tries to persuade him to stop bothering the girl as she is going to be married to Sameer with whom he has had altercation. Firstly, Tariq remains quite reticent but after some time he tells his father that he has got the number of the girl just a few weeks back and that he has called her not more than two times. After having heard this, his father tells him that Sameer and his father told him that you have been calling the girl for the last one year. This matter shocks Tariq and he swears to his father that he has only rang her up two times, and that he has not called her again at all. Now both Tariq and his father wish to tell this matter to Sameer and his father in order to clarify their doubt so they contact them to have a discussion pertaining to the issue in order to resolve that. Sameer and his father approach their home for further clarification. Sameer asks Tariq to tell him the truth as he is already too much frustrated and confounded. Tariq discloses to him that it is really true that he has only called his girl friend two times and that also two weeks back, and not more than that. He further says that he has not contacted her after their brawl and skirmish. Now Sameer gets convinced and he asks him that from where did he get her number? At first, Tariq remains quite quiet, but later he speaks up to tell him that he has a very old class mate called Raja whom he met just a few weeks back. He tells Sameer that it is Raja who himself gave away the girl's number, wishing and wanting him to talk to her.
Sameer gets both very shocked and very surprised to hear all this about his childhood friend. He becomes intensely furious. And as soon as he runs towards Raja's home, his father cools him down and explains to him that they need to settle this matter by telling his father everything but Sameer disagrees with his father and asks him to lodge a legal complaint against him in the case of bothering his love for so long without any hint and trace of him being involved in all this. He also tells his father that before sending him to prison for his this mischief and misdeed, he will not spare him. Therefore, Sameer calls Raja to meet him in the evening as they have not seen each other for the last few days. Actually, Sameer wants to teach him a lesson for making his life like a hell. Raja doesn't know anything about his being exposed to his childhood friend who has always supported him, prayed for him, cried with him, laughed with him, played with him and even shared each secret with him, trusting him fully but what he has done to him is really unbelievable. Nobody can even believe it that a person so intimate to someone could deceive so cryptically, making his life an inferno. As soon as Raja shows up, Sameer attacks him, punching him right in his face, causing his blood to gush out from his nostrils. Raja falls down fainting but soon gets back to his senses, pretending to beg forgiveness from him for ruining his life for such a long period. But Sameer doesn't stop beating him. He doesn't even care about his apology and goes on hitting, beating and kicking him from head to tail. Afterwards, when Sameer gets tired , he leaves Raja and sternly and harshly asks him to leave the city forever, never to appear there again in future or else he would kill him. Raja becomes so scared and so intimidated of his friend's words that he runs away from the spot to save himself from being beaten so brutally. And he is seen leaving his hometown to stay alive the very next day.
